CSI 2* Grand Prix Dolce & Gabbana - Girl power

Among the 24 competitors starting this Grand Prix (1.45 meter), seven pairs managed to qualify for the jump-off. Seven pairs, not a single male rider on the board! Indeed, only the amazons have obviously managed to get out of the subtleties of the course designed by Uliano Vezzani. Obviously in a very good shape this weekend, the Belgian Laura Mathy managed once again to dominate this major Grand Prix of the CSI 2*. Starting in the last position in the jump-off, she clocked a 36.55 seconds round, nearly four seconds ahead of Romanian rider Alexia Apostolescu (41.17 seconds). "It's a dream, I could not imagine a better weekend, I was going last so I was lucky enough to be able to see the other girls' jump-offs, there were not so much clear rounds but I have a fighting spirit so I still gave everything and I finish four seconds faster. It's awesome" the young woman said a few seconds before the prize giving ceremony. Canada's Julia Tops, meanwhile, clocked the third-best stopwatch at 42.45 seconds. Now, let's start the major events of the weekend, the second round of the Global Champions League and the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix.
