Vincent Bartin Pulls Out All the Stops to Win the Prix Dolce & Gabbana CSI2*
02-06-2018

Nothing ventured, nothing gained was winner Vincent Bartin’s motto going into the jump-off round of Saturday’s 1.45m Prix Dolce & Gabbana CSI2*.

Mounted aboard Caramba du Ruisseau Z, the French rider took a gamble at a tall, vertical liverpool—a risk that paid off with a clear round and the lead with only a handful of riders left to jump. Bartin’s time of 37.98 seconds edged out the Ukraine’s Oleksandr Onyshchenko & Valentino Velvet with 39.08. American rider Teddy Vlock & Gasper van den Doorn, on 39.31, took third.

This is Bartin’s first St. Tropez podium finish and first 1.45m win with Caramba du Ruisseau Z, a 12-year-old Zangersheide mare with whom he’s been paired since 2014.
